Once you're in Myrtle Beach, or wherever you are staying on the Grand Strand, try to get around any way but by driving. The area is popular, especially in summer, and traffic can be congested. There are two new roads in the area built to ease congestion, and you can also try taking Highway 17 Bypass to avoid the major traffic. Highway 31, also called Carolina Bays Parkway, runs parallel to Highway 17 and can get you faster between North Myrtle Beach and the town of Conway. Highway 22, also called Conway Bypass, is a connector road between Highway 17 and another route out of the town of Conway.

Public Transportation in Myrtle Beach Area
